Only problem, (o.k. one of the many problems) with your “logic” is, is that Obi Wan didn’t create the science, logic, mind, matter and souls that exist empirically. The more deoxyribonucleic acid is studied, the more complex it becomes. This is one of the many statistically impossible to explain facts flying against your religion (that you deny belonging to, but are quite clearly a zealous follower of, Atheism). “A” meaning no and “the” meaning God and “ism” meaning belief in… You know you cannot prove your assertion, therefor, the “ism”…
God, the intelligent creator of physics, mathematics, astronomy, biology, also created the human soul. You can deny many things. Lie to yourself about what “scientific” opinions fit your belief system, but, you cannot lie to yourself about your soul. A mere animal, at the top of the food chain, wouldn’t be taking the trouble to blog extensively to prove their beliefs. You wouldn’t be trying so hard to prove they were facts, if they actually met that burden of proof. You just simply can’t prove your assertions. Because they’re faith. Faith that God does not exist, when you could obviously never prove such an assertion. Any intellectually honest human being would admit that.
What I give you, that you most certainly can freely reject, is that any person honestly seeking the truth about our lives, our universe, our purpose, deserves respect for taking that intellectual and spiritual journey to know the truth. Seeking the truth deserves respect. So, you have mine (whether you disdain it or not). I hope you continue on your path of seeking empirical truth as long as you are given life.

This chick is on the new “Breaking Amish LA” I saw a commercial for. My memory for reality television isn’t that great, but I do have a knack for remembering faces and I remember her scene with Jeremiah being ridiculously scripted. Looks like the new show will have more fakers. Looks like they’re following the same formula with dramatizations of them leaving their homes in the Amish community in the beginning. At the very least I hope -these- kids aren’t all a bunch of assholes.

we also have alot of amish in our small town in wisconsin and we accept them as normal people as I myself have seen them at walmart and places like that and also have had the honor of a normal conversation with a few, For whomever think they are dumb guess again bc they are extremely intelligant people and I was honored to learn a few things from them!!!

Hi X. I was reading your posts about Breaking Amish and I understand what you’re saying about the show. The show is obviously fake (all rality shows are), but are the things they talk about real? Do some orders really tell parents they can’t talk to their ex-amish children? Does education really stop after 8th grade? Are there Amish who shun or belittle others for their “sins”, then go to bachelor parties and get lap dances? I know the show is fake, but IF these things are true, should they not be brought to the publics attention?
